Parish Life

Parish life serves as a steering committee for activities that help make Holy Mother of Consolation the welcoming and positive place that many people find it to be.  Activities include: Doughnut Sunday Socials, Trash & Treasure Sale, Craft Fair, Summer Events, Parish Potlucks and Raffles, Welcoming New Members and More! The "Life" of this group depends on the enthusiasm of the parish.  Please contact Ann Reisdorfer 608-835-7199 or a.reisdorfer@charter.net, chairperson or Lisa Butters in the parish office to offer assistance.

New Parish Life Members: Please join us to discuss PARISH LIFE ACTIVITIES! No commitment required - the committee meets about 4 times a year to discuss ways to keep our parish "alive and well." Any questions, please contact Ann or Lisa

Cookie Walk Chair & Co-Chair - our yearly Cookie Walk is held one weekend in December following Masses. Coordinating, organizing, set-up and sales for just one weekend! This fun event brings parishioners to Consolation Hall to purchase their Christmas goodies which have been prepared and donated from other parishioners. Please contact Ann or Lisa at the numbers above.

New Member Welcome Committee Members - we are looking for a few volunteers who would be willing to assist in welcoming new members! We encourage new ways, ideas, etc. to connect more fully with those interested in Holy Mother of Consolation parish and to provide follow-up to their needs.

Summer Event Coordinator - for several years we have attend a Mallard's Baseball game at the Duck Pond in Madison. We are looking for someone to coordinate the event date, announcements, sign-up and ticket sales. Not into baseball?... maybe you are willing to take on some other"summer-time" event for our parishioners.
